Zazozora is a swedish metal band
From the beginning Zazozora was called
Signal Rött (Signal Red), and played
punk music when the group started in Aug 95
then in Feb 96 we changed the name to Zazozora.
We also changed our music style to Hard Rock,
with some dark lyrics, we also made a ballad.
The members where, after some changes:
Marianne Sund - Vocal
Anders Öquist - Guitar
Markus Olsson - Guitar (Now in Holms)
Fredrik Olsson - Bass
Christer Abrahamsson - Drums (Now in Holms)
We lost singer after an argument just after
a concert in Jun 96.
She started a new band with Anders, and took the songs
to that group instead leaving Zazozora with nothing.
The name on the group was Tinuviel, they don't exist today.
By the end of the summer Christer left Zazozora to,
he wanted to concentrate on Holms instead.
Zazozora made some changes in the band such as,
Anders on Guitar/Vocals, Fredrik on drums and a new
bassplayer ---- Mattias Backlund.
In Nov 96 we recorded in a studio just to find out how it is,
but we decided to make demo out of it...... Wonder why ?
After that Marcus decided to leave the band.
In Apr 97 we got a new Guitar player Lasse Persson.
He had only been playing bass before but now began play,
guitar instead. And we changed our music style again,
this time to more doom/death style of music.
Our music will be more heavier and slower than before,
something like Venom, Black Sabbath mixed together.
In November '97 we decided to record a new demo,
so we could be concentrating on new songs instead.
This demo turned out to be better than the first one
but the sound on it wasn't as good. We recorded that
in only 3 hours, and mixed it in 2 hours.
Are recording style in the studio was like when you
play live and we don't lay on any additional "things",
only 2 or 3 melodies.
We are planning to change our music to more
like the old group Pentagram and record a new
demo this summer if we have enough material by then.

971213 - Lucia rocken Gävle
A gig in the "sjömanskyrkan" in near town Gävle. This was second gig outside Ockelbo. It felt good to play there, but as e was playing the PA-system crashed for about 15-20 minutes, which took all the fun from playing. This time the backline was OK but it was only Anders who had good sound The other in the band only heard themselves, which was some improvement.
Oktober 31 1997:
This was the scond time we was in a studio. This time it was more fun as we had better songs than the last one. We mixed the demo the 24th November 97. We named it Flood of blood.

-Söderhamns Rocken, or what it was called. This was the first time Lasse did perform with us Lasse had only been playing with for five times, we did 2 new songs The first time also for Anders sung in his new style.

This was the first time Anders was singing, and the first time we played covers - Paranoid(guess who), Bögfest i bastun (Vrävarna), Birgitt (SlaskFittorna). Also the first time Mattias played bass with us Marcus didn't wanna play with this time, he had been playing with us in about 3 months

This probably was our best performance, the songs we had was among the best we ever has made. Marianne took all songs to his new group Tinuviel. This was to be our singer Marianne last time with us as she left us the day after.
